Workshop Agenda

1. Introduction to Planetary Conjunctions (20 minutes)

Definition: A conjunction occurs when two or more planets occupy the same sign or are within a certain degree range of each other in a natal chart.

Significance: Conjunctions intensify the energies of the involved planets, leading to a combined influence that can profoundly affect an individual’s life.

2. Basic Principles of Conjunctions (40 minutes)

Orb of Influence: Generally, an orb of 8-10 degrees is considered for conjunctions. However, closer conjunctions (within 1-3 degrees) are much stronger.

House and Sign Influence: The effects of the conjunction are modulated by the house and sign in which it occurs.

Example: A conjunction in the 1st house (Ascendant) affects personality, whereas in the 10th house, it influences career and public life.

3. Understanding Specific Planetary Conjunctions (1 hour)

Sun-Moon Conjunction: Indicates new beginnings and strong willpower, but can also cause inner tension.

Mercury-Venus Conjunction: Enhances artistic abilities and communication skills, promoting charm and diplomacy.

Mars-Saturn Conjunction: Can create intense drive and ambition but may also lead to frustration and obstacles.

Jupiter-Rahu (North Node) Conjunction: Often seen in charts of highly ambitious individuals, but can also indicate moral and ethical challenges.

4. Practical Examples and Interpretation (45 minutes)

Example Charts: Analyze a few example natal charts to identify and interpret conjunctions.

Case Study 1: A chart with a Sun-Mars conjunction in the 10th house.

Case Study 2: A chart with a Venus-Saturn conjunction in the 7th house.

Interactive Session: Participants can share their own charts or hypothetical scenarios for group analysis.

5. Remedies and Mitigation (15 minutes)

Mantras and Prayers: Specific mantras for planets involved in difficult conjunctions.

Gemstones: Recommending suitable gemstones to balance planetary energies.

Fasting and Charities: Traditional remedies such as fasting on specific days and donating to causes related to the planets.
